The
Marshall Activity Center, more commonly referred to as
the MAC, was originally conceived to fill the area’s
need for more gymnasium space for the ever increasing
youth basketball and volleyball
events, but as the plans developed it evolved into an
activity center which can be used in a number of ways.
Aside from the obvious gym uses, the building has become
a popular place to hold business conferences,
open houses,
birthday parties, company parties,
and an array of banquet events.
The 13,500 square foot gymnasium is often carpeted for
trade shows or large meetings and receptions. After chandeliers
are hung, lighted trees placed, and a large dance floor
laid, the gym transforms into a large yet warm, banquet
hall. By moving our partition or curtain, the area works
nicely for groups ranging in size 100 to nearly 600 guests.
